INDIVIDUAL ADVISORY

You can solve the problem.

The harder question is whether it’s yours to solve.

The people I work with are already very good at what they do.

They see things early. They know when something isn’t working. And, more often than not, they know how to fix it.

That’s useful. Until it means you’re carrying things simply because you can.

Sometimes you need someone outside the situation to help you sort out what’s happening, what matters, and what is actually yours to do.

That’s what we do here.

Empty office corner with beige walls, a white desk, and a black office chair, with sunlight casting shadow stripes on the wall.

You don’t need me to tell you to trust yourself.

And you probably don’t need another leadership framework.

You need someone who can understand the situation quickly, see the patterns underneath it, challenge your read when necessary, and help you get clear about what comes next.

I won’t just hand the question back to you. I’ll tell you what I see. You’ll decide what to do with it.

WHAT THE WORK IS

A place to think with someone who can keep up.

THE QUESTIONS UNDERNEATH THE QUESTION

Maybe it sounds like this.

Do I step in, or am I taking over something that belongs to someone else?

Is this actually mine to solve?

How hard do I push this person?

Is my instinct right here, or am I reaching for what has always worked?

Am I seeing this clearly, or am I too close to it?

I know what I could do. What should I do?

JURISDICTION

Capability is not jurisdiction.

Being able to carry something doesn’t necessarily make it yours to carry.

When you’re capable, you tend to see things before other people do. You can anticipate the problem. You know how to fix it. And sometimes it feels easier to just take care of it yourself.

Sometimes stepping in is leadership.

Sometimes it’s over-functioning.

Knowing the difference matters.

This is probably for you if…

You’re already successful at what you do.

You have enough self-awareness to know there may be something you’re not seeing.

You want someone who will challenge you, not just validate you.

You’re dealing with something consequential enough that getting clearer about it matters.

What this isn’t

This isn’t accountability coaching. It isn’t a leadership curriculum. And I’m not going to give you seven steps to becoming your best self.

We work on the thing that’s actually in front of you.

Tell me what you’re navigating.

If something isn’t resolving the way it should, tell me a little about it. If I think I can be useful, we’ll start there.
